Exposure and access to hardcore pornography is easy in todays world. The negative impact it has on relationships and the mental well being of families and individuals can be devastating. Having managed a number of cases involving such devastation, Al Madina has been working to support a pornography addiction programme.

This is the first of its kind within a local Muslim Community and has potentially enormous benefits. Al Madina Mosque has once again led its community, by accessing professionals in the field and devising a possible remedy to an ever-growing problem which is unaddressed at this time. This innovative and ground-breaking project in partnership with sister agencies will initially focus on the UK, with hope to eventually research and document root causes to pornography related problems globally, especially how culture, patriarchy, misogyny and extreme segregation influence or exacerbate the problem.
