Yoga focuses on your body’s natural tendency toward health and self- healing. Its purpose is to create strength, awareness and harmony in both the mind and body. While there are many types, of yoga, most sessions typically include breathing exercises, meditation, and assuming postures that stretch and flex various muscle groups. For 7 years now A Madina’s ladies’ and girls yoga circle has met twice a week and continues to flourish and grow. Sometimes seen more as a social club (food parties aplenty) for mothers and daughters to get together and chat and let off steam. A hugely successful and rewarding project. As part of the development of this discipline Al Madina also caters for the more serious yoga enthusiast with an advanced class held twice a week.
Sessions are on:
- Monday and Wednesday – 10:00am- 12:00pm
- Sunday- 09:00am – 11:00am
