Muntada Aid’s Little Hearts project provides free life-saving cardiac surgery and interventional cardiac catheterization for children with Congenital Heart defects from underprivileged families irrespective of gender, race or religion. Each year over 1,000,000 babies are born worldwide with a congenital heart defect. 100,000 of them will not live to see their first birthday and thousands more die before they reach adulthood.

As part of our welfare support programme Al Madina financially supports Muntada Aid with the intention of communal benefit in the form of ongoing charity for mosque users.
